People always say that French guys are romantic, charming and lovable. Which make them so irresistible.
Really??
Honestly, I have no idea. But somehow, that is what romantic film love to portrait them. Right?
Until I met this guy called Maxime
(now u know what's the title is all about aite. Hey, am back talking bout guy!!! wootwoot~) =p We met during an event called Jelajah 1 M'sia. It's actually the cycling event. So, Maxime is one of the cyclists who took part in that competition. And he's from France!
Technically, it all began when Eifa wanted to take a photo with the French cyclists. But then, something unexpected happened. He walked over to me, smiled and asked if we could take a photo together - just the two of us. Excuse me... what?! A foreigner asking to take a photo with me? I honestly didn't see that coming. Da tak perasan macam artist pulak kan. kahkahkah.
So, that was it. We took pictures together and I smiled then I walked away.
Like that? Yes, just like that! I know, bongok kan. tsk. =_="
Sampai one of the staffs yang ada kat situ cakap dekat I,
"Apsal ko tak kasi email ko kat die? Ckp la nak suh die antar gambar tadi kat ko. Nanti ko bole chat ngan die."
Sometimes I can be so socially oblivious. Smpai nak kena orang ajar how to
flirt be nice with new people that interested in me. haaaaaish.
The next day, while I was talking to my course mate and her boss, I noticed Maxime was there too. But I couldn't just walk away from them for the sake of
I-wanna-talk-to-him. Seriously, that would have been so rude. So again, I ended up ignoring him while he seemed like he wanted to talk to me. I just didn't know how I was supposed to react. tsk. =_=
I didn't see him again until the very last day of the event. And guess where I was? Right in the middle of a conversation with the boss of Harley-Davidson. Dammit! Fortunately, he was brave enough to come close and again, asked to take a picture. Tak kesah la as long as I got the chance to talk to him. Then baru I berani cakap I'd love to have that picture and hope he could send it to my email. Bravo!
So, we exchanged email addresses and had a little conversation. To my surprise, his English wasn't exactly... well... easy to understand. 😂 Hadoyaaaaai~
Honestly, I thought that was the end of it. I never expected him to actually email me afterwards. I mean, come on, we had just met! I was convinced it was one of those random encounters you'd smile about and never think of again.
But oh, how wrong I was. To my surprise, he actually emailed me from the time he arrived in Singapore until he got home to France. And of course, his emails were so hard to understand. Lol.
Every time I read his emails, I had to brainstorm with Eifa first (my personal translator in this case) before replying. 😂 And let me tell you, it wasn't easy! Sebab I was so scared I'd misinterpret what he was trying to say. I was so relieved when he finally discovered Google Translate. It made everything so much easier for me to understand. hahaha

It's kinda cute! huhu..

And now it has proven that French guy bisa mencairkan hati dara.
Melting every time I read his email.
