Towards the Plan

We meet again, December. Yeaaaaaay!

December always sounds interesting kan? =D Anyway, I'm so thanking The Lord for all happiness and blessings that keep me through the year. I can't express in words all of the things I'm thankful for. This month, there shall be an even better one right around the corner. I just can't wait! =)

I believe my close friends and relatives are well informed about the 'plan' that we have made. And that's what actually family and I are working on; doing some home renovations. It's an old house that Abah bought it somewhere in 1980s. In view of the fact that Abah has to transfer and stay in Langkawi, he rent out the house.

Since Abah is now about to retire and planning to settle down in Alor Star soon, my parents make home improvement. This project has started since 2 months ago (approximately) and it's 80% complete!

The project of home improvement includes;
  1. Ceiling replacement
  2. Repairing plumbing and electrical systems
  3. Extending house with living room and bath room
  4. Doors, windows and lighting replacement
  5. Install floor tile

(Large frame) First hall that has been extended and new windows replaced.
(Vertical frame) Second living room and new ceiling replaced.
(Small frame) Repairing electrical systems.
When the unprofessional do painting ;p
Taken during Raya Haji.
Disarranged second living room with new lighting

Basically bedrooms are all okay and living rooms (first and second) are so perfect! We're now waiting for the kitchen and bathrooms to be done.

Kitchen part; our designer promise will be ready to install the cabinet in two weeks. I hope they will keep their promise as we're running out of time. While bathrooms are almost done with doors, walls, ceiling, simple repairs and touch-ups (including painting).

Pray to God that they will complete and finish it at the very least, a week before the date of the 'plan'. Because we still have lots of boxes to be unpacked and organized them. Truth be told, I can't afford to get things done at the last minute cos I have a lot on my plate currently. *fingers crossed*

so-called-retis

Lemme be honest to you.. When I first heard word of retis, it's sounds so bizarre and gross to me. Feel so awkward to pronounce and in fact, I dun even know the meaning. ngeee~
I only know the meaning of retis when a friend used 'that' word in twitter and I was like, "retis what?"
So, he told me that retis means artist.
"Oooooookay... understand." *but still, sounds so GROSS!!  >.<
Makanya, saya telah membuat pengenalan mengenai maksud retis sebelum memulakan perenggan.
*Motif guna perkataan retis sebagai Tajuk (da cakap GROSS sgt)?? - Sebab nak update adik-adik yang kurang memahami (seperti saya) ngan perkataan-perkataan terkini lg trending. Kita belajar sama-sama ea. hahaha..
So, talking about retis/artist, someone has boosted me up in FB which had lead to the feelings of "seperti artis sangat" *pukes*

So, I asked him for what reason he called me 'insan popular'??  And it had dragged to the reply-comment session;
Then he ga…

10 Steps to do Self-Manicure

Since am no longer stay in KL, there's a lot of things that I need to compromise with maself; that I cannot have them in ma hometown. No more Nasi Ayam Penyet, no more Mamak at late night AND no more manicure and pedicure!! It scares me to hell when am imagine that ma nail will turn ugly without treatment.  >.<

BTS: My Engagement Day

Aloha!!!
I know it has been a while but here's a treat, Behind The Scenes (BTS) of my engagement day! ;)

22-12-12 is the date that I'm officially engaged to the man I wholeheartedly love, Incik Pensyarah. Alhamdulillah, the ceremony went so well; filled with the positive vibes, joy and incredible bond that everyone shares.
Since pink is my favorite color (yeah, everyone knows that) I've came out with the idea of Princess theme. And of course, everything has to be in pink color! haha..
The Preparations

Canopies: Abah & Mama rented from Encik Razak - recommended by our relatives. Since it's an intimate ceremony attended by relatives and close friends, two canopies should be more than enough to accommodate about 200 people. It's a pyramid canopy with ceiling fan and decorated beautifully with pink-and-white scallop.
Door Gifts: Mama wanted to give something meaningful and not to be wasted so, Yaasin is the best! Tapi takkan nk bagi Yaasin semata-mata right? Henc…
